Why we built AmbuGo.

An origin story.

Two AmbuGo medics in white scrubs

India's ambulance system runs on phone trees and WhatsApp screenshots. Not because the technology doesn't exist — cabs have dispatch infrastructure. Food delivery has dispatch infrastructure. Emergency ambulances in 2026 do not.

We didn't want to build a better phone number. We wanted to rebuild the rails underneath. ONDC was the answer the country had already proposed for open commerce — we asked them to extend it to emergency response. They said yes, the same day we asked.

Three founders. One technical lead. Ten production apps in fifteen months. We're not the biggest company in this space. We're the only one writing the standard the rest will eventually build on.

"Ambulance dispatch in India deserves infrastructure, not just a phone number."
